Congratulations to everyone involved in the organisation of Fleadh Cheoil in Belfast last week – it was an amazing event from start to finish and a great showcase for our traditional music, song, dance and language. Well done to our own musicians who attended and performed in sessions, concerts and on the gig rig as members of various groups. The video below captures a few of the events they were involved in.
The road to next year’s Fleadh Cheoil begins for us when our classes resume on Saturday, 12th September, in Anahorish Primary School so, if you were inspired by the fleadh and would like to learn an instrument, watch this space for further details and registration information over the next few days.
