It’s a big week for our branch this week. On Wednesday or Thursday night our PRO, Eimear Cassidy will be in The Dome in Tralee, Co. Kerry, chatting to Dáithí Ó Sé in her bid to qualify for the televised final stages of the Rose of Tralee International Festival which take place next Monday and Tuesday night.
And over the weekend, we have no fewer than eight participants competing for honours at the All-Ireland Fleadh Cheoil in Ennis, Co. Clare. Some of our members, like Caitriona Lagan (pictured) are already in Ennis, enjoying the good weather and the festival atmosphere.
Safe journey and best of luck to Eimear, Roise, Ellie, Caitriona, Caoimhe, Patrick, Hugh, Roisin, Anthony, their families and supporters, and all those travelling to represent Derry and the other Ulster counties at the two events.
